At the heart of Ko Au Infusion is a deep connection to nature, tradition, and personal healing. "Ko Au" means "me" in Te Reo Māori, symbolizing the personal journey we each take toward wellness. Our products reflect this journey, offering a natural way to care for the body, mind, and spirit, inspired by the wisdom of Rongoā Māori.
Founder Hinerangi (Hine) grew up surrounded by the native bush of Ruatahuna, where the knowledge of traditional Māori healing was passed down through her whānau. It was later in life, after experiencing a significant health challenge, that Hine returned to these roots—choosing the natural path of rongoā Māori over pharmaceuticals. Guided by tikanga Māori (cultural practices) and respect for Papatūānuku (Mother Nature), Hine harvests native plants with care, ensuring sustainability and gratitude in every step.
